Defective Tolex Cover
I purchased this product along with the EVH LBXII amp. As soon as I received both, I placed the EVH LBXII amp on top of the speaker cab and jammed for approximately two weeks after which I decided to move the hardware to another place of the room. When I removed the amp from the cab, I noticed yellow rings where the rubber feet of the amp sat on the cab. At first, I thought it was just some minor surface stain from the rubber. Boy was I wrong! I attempted to clean it with various products none of which did anything. So I did research on the web, and it appears that the rubber feet of the amp actually CHEMICALLY INTERACTED with the speaker cab white Tolex material and PERMANENTLY stained it. In other words, the cab is PERMANENTLY damaged from rubber feet! I contacted Fender and mentioned this to them, and they have made all sorts of excuses classifying this as "wear and tear". What the hell? No warning was provided in any documentation whatsoever that the common practice of placing an amp head on a speaker cabinet would permanently damage the hardware. Yeah, I know it has nothing to do with the sound but I don't care. I'm anal about the looks of my equipment (this damage also diminishes resale value) and this was something that happened not even two weeks into owning it and for nothing that was 1) warned about in any documentation (I read both manuals) 2) no one would could possibly think would happen unless they had it happen to them previously and were experienced with it. I'm usually a nice guy but the back and forth excuses I received from Fender made me post this bad review and warn others for this materially defective product.Edit: Fender agreed to accept a return of the product and I have decided to modify this review as a result. The warning will stay in effect, but as it is a material issue with a product that Fender did not create, it is not their fault. The amp sounds great otherwise. I just think some ample warning should have been given to at least protect the cab from brand new rubber feet the petroleum of which interacts with the Tolex so that anyone who purchases the cab can take the necessary precautions. It might be just a rare thing that was unknown.

MONSTER!!
I own a few amplifiers and have owned many. This 50 watt head and 2x12 cabinet are absolutely the best I've used. The clean is CLEAN, the blue channel is as crunchy as you want it to be and channel 3 is just insanity. I have a 100 watt Marshall JCM 2000 and 4x12 cab right now as well. This EVH does everything the Marshall does and more. I can't even image the EVH 100 watt because the 50 watt is LOUD. I haven't has any of the volume knobs past 2 or 3.Both Head and Cabinet are very well built. I went 6L6 as I think they are more reliable.Buy one!! You won't be disappointed.

EVH means Extreme Valuable Hardware...
I play in a cover band in Brazil. We play classic rock from England and USA. Also we play some international and brazilian pop rock with 3 or 4 reggaes. And the EVH is everything I've ever wanted to play live. From clean reggae and brazilian music to heavy rock as Maiden, Scorpions and Metallica. Perfect for a stage to play for 200 people as to 5.000 people. Also, to record in a studio the sound is awsome. I strongly recommend this item for those who love a powerful sound with extreme quality. And the unique device that provide the inclination of the amp is really something for those who play live. Also the attachment system for the EVH III amp is simple and most useful. Don't wait anymore! Buy it and rock on!!!
