It's ok and will work for now. It is the flexible jelly case but a little stiffer than they let on. It is lightweight and not bulky at all. Its fits perfectly, cutouts aligned perfect as well as buttons and I have no issues using the ports, buttons or fingerprint scanner with the case on. I thought it was more of a solid purple color rather than the clear see through purple tint but for $6, it's a decent case. The raised edges around the camera come up enough that I wont worry about the case not protecting it. However, the front barely raises over the edges and I am concerned its not raised enough to help protect my screen if something were to happen. But I can't complain too much for the price and no real flaws in functionality other than the front edges.

I'm not too hard on my phone so I think this case will hold up just fine for me. I have the gray G8 and this color looks really great on the phone.

I was a bit skeptical to order because of the reviews of it being the wrong color green and not being sturdy enough.. but i definitely have dropped the phone a few times since putting the case on and no damage. I love this case.. i have the green it is truly green and doesnt add unnecessary bulk to the phone..

Trying to find a no-nonsense case can often be difficult. Cases are either cheaply made or have a bunch of unnecessary flash. They can easily be over designed. This case delivers understated quality which allows your device to stand out. The entire case has a slight texture to it that improves grip except for around the front where it's shiny. This bezel blends well with the phone face. The cut lines are sharp and clean. my only (minor) gripe is that the border bezel isn't a LITTLE more pronounced, even 1-2mm would allow you to place the phone face down without the screen contacting the surface. I've been saved by the bezel a couple times over the years on other cases. It would be a nice feature to add to this nearly perfect minimalist case.

LOVE this Purple Phone Case more than I thought I would. Stays on & doesn't slide around as easy as I thought it would on certain surfaces.Doesn't move from my machine vibrations when I lay my phone on top of a frame @ work. Exactly what I was looking for due to my hella favorite type of phone case not really being produced anymore. My uktime favorite phone case got stolen in the beginning of the Corona Pandemic with my new phone @ a gas station. So I rebought my phone & had to look for a different phone case & glad I decided on this 1.As I have used it for the past about 5 months now I can say that this case doesn't show scratches easy & held up the few times I droped me phone.If I need a case again I will definitely pick this 1 again.

Purple is my favorite color. I love the thinness of my phone and love that this cover doesn't add bulk.My son has accidentally dropped my phone a couple times and because the cover wraps slightly around the front, my screen was protected. No scratches and no damage.It's easy to put on and take off which is handy since to use my lapel mic when recording I have to take the cover off.If I can find white I'll buy it too!

I decided to look for a very slim case for my LG g8. I was using a bigger spinger case that felt like it would protect my phone in case i dropped it without having to worry. This slim case in the other hand feels like a sleeve more than an actual case. Maybe it will protect the phone from scratches but I don't know how confident I feel about Overall protection. I might get something sturdier. If you want a simple and very slim case then this is for you. If you want to feel assured that your phone will survive a drop or than look elsewhere. I think the 7 dollars is a little to expensive for what the case offers but that's just me. I think 4 or 5 Dollars would have been much better.

I wouldn't expect this to protect your phone from long drops, but it'll save the corners from getting scratched, which is about what you should expect from a sub ten dollar case. More importantly, it makes the glass-backed G8 much safer to hold, as the case material is impressively grippy. I also expect this case to last quite a while, unlike a hard case.
