Had a Issue getting Sonoff Switch to connect to app (Found Soloution)
At first I had major issues trying to get this wifi switch to connect to the app. No matter what method I used it would either not find the device or get stuck on 'Retrieve Device Info' part. Read all the instructions still no luck. Decided to look online before smashing the sonoff with a sedge hammer. In the end I discovered if you make sure your mobile phone data is turned off and just have your wifi connected to the 2.4ghz wifi it will allow the device to connect properly. (No mention of this anywhere in the instructions)Some reason if you are connected to your wifi but still have your mobile data on in your phone it messes this up.Once I had got passed that road block everything fell into place and I was able to easily connect it to my Alexa app and control the switch using my Alexa echo devices. Works perfectly !

Rip-off
Physically adding the switches is ok however they do not connect to modern (and I mean newer than 5 year old) equipment, they claim to only work on a single 2.4Ghz frequency (not specified on Amazon) so that means shutting down half your router’s frequencies. I tried this and still no connection. Also, the app insists that you provide email, physical location and Wi-fi router password - Am I the only one who thinks this is a bit too much information for a simple switch?!?? Be warned - non-functioning, dodgy equipment.

Cheap and effective wireless lighting control
These wifi switches are cheep, easy to setup and do the job. If you want to convery your lighting to wifi or alexa control for a few pounds they are definately fit for the purpose.

Really Useful
I bought the 2 pack of these to control my under counter LED lights in the Kitchen and set a scene to come on sunset and off at 23:00 they have worked really well, I would purchase again when I need more controllers, for a decent price.

Excellent little switches
These are awesome little switches, dont require any hub so work directly from your home wifi. only complaint is that they only use 2.4 wifi but that is a small matter.Quick and easy to set up and can handle upto 10a load so pretty much any 2 wire device you can use them on - I have reading lamps, fans, and even my kitchen plinth lights automated with these devices. For the price you cannot fault them.

Ok for mains only, not sure on reliability
Cheap enough but only switches mains voltage. If that's what you need fine. One stopped connecting to wifi after a few months and many reinstalls failed to fix it. Ok for hobby stuff but I wouldn't trust it for anything critical.

Integrates with Alexa but be prepared to update firmware first
I love theseI've got one on each of my garden lightsGreat wireless range and Alexa automated integrationMy only problem was that the control app didn't work straight away as the firmware needed to be upgraded on each unit.

Fantastic
I love these wifi Alexa compatible switches. I have several now some grouped some stand alone. All work brilliantly and so easy to install and set up.
