I'm an avid backpacker, hiker and camper. I like deep-woods pack-in and pack-out camping off the grid. This sleeping bag performed well in its outing overall, even in a hammock. It compresses fairly well, is more lightweight than my heavier Coleman, and the additional material behind the head and shoulders is a nice touch. However, I am dinging it a star. Manly men like myself have broad shoulders packed with powerful muscles; we can crush beer cans in our biceps. For such prime physical specimens who are approaching 41 and don't have a dad bod at all (no sir, I promise) the shoulder width as-advertised here doesn't seem to align with reality. I found the top of the bag a tight squeeze. This meant the tops of my shoulders were somewhat exposed to the night air, and you can lose a lot of heat in that scenario, and if you weren't as masculine as myself you might find yourself reaching for those hot hands thingies that say they last for six hours but effectively only warm an area the size of a postage stamp.I also didn't care for the zippers, which are oddly finicky the closer to the top of the bag you get. The strap of Velcro near the apex of the bag seems an afterthought to help deal with these, though, and is a nice touch, easy to find and bind in blackout conditions, which is useful if you ever want to catch some Z's while you're awaiting your final showdown with the Predator.This is a solid value camper's sleeping bag, but those of us who hit the Contra Code for our muscle mass and probably look like a cross between Ron Swanson and Rutger Hauer in their prime would do well to keep the bag width limitation in mind.

I bought these bags for camping in the Boundary Water Canoe Area of Minnesota, 45-50 degree Fahrenheit lows. The bags are very compact and lightweight. They survived rough treatment (24 portages and 7 camp setups & teardowns)! We ran inflatable bag pads underneath each bag.I treated the bags with a permethrin insecticide before the trip with no ill effects on the filler or liner materials.The bags required a machine wash and a line dry when we got back home, cause they had some stank. This is usually when a sleeping bag fails, but these bags survived! No lumpiness in the filling or anything ill.These are great bags for mild weather. I would not take them camping when expecting really cold weather unless I was dressed adequately.Good for couch surfing, jam bags, office crashing, and as an emergency blanket for vehicles.The only wrinkle we experienced was: There is a bit of hook and loop closure (like Velcro) near the head. My wife woke up with her hair in the hook and loop a couple of times and it took her some time to extricate herself while I giggled…4.5 stars rounded up to 5. This is a great sleeping bag easy to fold back and put away in the bag.

Is this top of the line? no. But you aren't paying for top of the line. With that said, it's comfortable and easy to roll and unroll from the bag. I also like the extra space on top for a pillow or to draw around your head. Haven't used it in super cold yet (only 65- which is cold for me!) but it kept me warm with an extra blanket on top.

Tight for an adult. I’m 5’7” and average build and I couldn’t zip it up. I used it as a blanket.

I’ve used this several times, including light rain with no tent. It is waterproof!!Including a wind storm that had trees and construction sites falling apart. The bag protects from wind!It is warm enough! In 40 degrees F, with high winds and a heavy blanket (no tent), I was incredibly cozy.Drawback: it is FAT. Not very heavy, but big enough in dimension to be annoying

This sleeping bag is made of high quality materials and very well manufactured. The zipper (which is probably the most important part and the one thing that usually fails or snags the inner lining) is robust and designed in such a way that it actually pushes the material away from the teeth as it closes them together. The drawstring works great pulling the head part close around keeping any draught out.It's perfect for mild winter camping but cannot say how it would cope with temperatures lower than 2 or 3 degrees.The bag itself has enough room to comfortably move around and is cozy and warm without causing lots of sweat. It packs away well into the drawstring bag which again is very well made with stitched straps which give it more strength and will make it last longer.Overall I cannot find any reason to give this product less than 5 stars.Great value for money

They have mentioned special Zipper but it was an ordinary zipper that came with the product.The material inside is of low qualityThe brand name in product listed is different from what is shippedI requested for exchange and agin I have received the similar low quality product but a different size. Not sure how that got high rating. May I should not buy based on review ratings. Worst experience.
