There may be better bread knives but so far we are very happy with this one. Cuts great and comes out of the dishwasher fine.

Good solid knife, but BE CAREFUL
This is a great bread knife. I usually don't like Henckels, knives, but this one is sturdy and strong, and sharp (yes, I did nick my thumb in the first day, but all knives demand a baptism). But watch out for that totally exposed and razor-sharp heel, it really could use a guarding bolster to protect the unaware (like me that one time ...)

Great Knife
I bought a set of Henkels knives years ago and since have received several compliments on how easily the knives cut. My mom loved my bread knife so much that I ordered her this one as a gift.

I thought I was buying a German knife. I mean, it’s a very built knife, but the fact that it’s made in India should have been shared and I wouldn’t have purchased it.
