We take this as part of the PAGG stack in Tim Ferriss' Four Hour Body / Slow Carb Diet.I would consider this an essential supplement, for the following reasons:- it increases glucose and carb absorption, storing these in muscle or the liver, instead of adding them to fat deposits.- it helps with excretion of toxic heavy metals e.g. mercury.- it restores levels of the potent antioxidant glutathione, which declines with age.This is one of the few supplements that have noticeably helped with general wellbeing and limiting fat gain during holiday seasons.

This Alpha Lipoic Acid supplement is fantastic! The 900mg dose per capsule is higher than most other brands. taking this as a preventative message and to help increase Sperm volume and count.Easy to take and no unpleasant aftertaste. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a potent ALA supplement and maybe trying for a baby.

WARNING! This product is sold as 120 capsules with a daily dose of 900mg of Alpha Lipoic Acid. In actual fact, there are 120 capsules. BUT, to get the dose of 900mg daily it suggests to take THREE capsules. In other words, they are only 300mg per capsule. For 300mg capsules, the 120 content is ok for the price, but feel let down by the false advertising.
