Impressive spreader
I replaced a Scotts Elite spreader with this product because the Scotts couldn't spread enough fertilizer when it was set to the number on the fertilizer bag. This spreader not only distributed the right amount of fertilizer, but it spread a wider path which meant fewer rows which meant less time. It's very well built, easy to push and it did an amazing job. I love it.

A Spreader that will last
This is a very sturdy no nonsense spreader that was easy to put together and provided consistent spreading action. Simple mechanicals don't allow for odd variations (I had to return a 'green company' spreader to the green company as it had too many bells and whistles to adjust to keep the flow consistent.) I feel like this will last me a lifetime; big hopper, big pneumatic wheels equals big satisfaction!

Nice Heavy Duty Quality
The media could not be loaded. I love this product! It's been amazing. Nice and heavy built, maybe not for industrial people, but for a homeowner, it is perfect look no further.Fair price too!

Industrial feel
My main reason for this purchase was I was fed up with Scott’s spreaders. I tried 3 versions from least expensive to most expensive. The last model I tried was their “Elite” spreader which I can confirm was their worst. The Echo RB-60 is built better and the spreading mechanism is balanced so I no longer have stripes on my lawn. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is the spreader is not the easiest to push. Can’t say I have worked up much of a sweat fertilizing before but I do with the Echo. I guess it translates to a better workout :)

Throw away your cheap spreaders now!
I used a Scotts spreader for many years, never had an issue with it, but it finally wore out and needed replacement. Decided to go with the ECHO after several great reviews, and let me tell you, it is worth the extra money! My only regret is not getting one of these sooner! The side guard to keep pellets off the sidewalk/driveway was just awesome! I never even knew such a thing existed. First time in 25+ years of using lawn equipment, I did not have a ton on the cement! The spreader also has a wide throw, so I was able to make fewer passes to cover my entire yard, saving time so I could get onto the next project. The larger tires really make going over my lumpy yard easy and effortless, comparing to my old one with smaller, hard plastic wheels which did not like anything in front of them. The handle feels really solid, like it could take some abuse and not bend (other similarly prices ones had bent handle reviews).Cleanup is easy as well, just hose it off and leave in the sun a while to dry out.

Perfect for larger jobs.
It comes mostly assembled and easy to put the final parts together. The large rubber wheels are much better than the plastic on the Scott’s spreader. The spreader settings are similar to Scott’s. The broadcaster works well. The blocker to stop seed or fertilizer from spreading on to a driveway or walkway is Ok, some fertilizer still gets on the driveway. The best part about the spreader is the size of the bin. It can fit an entire 50 lbs bag of fertilizer and still easily spread. A good investment!

Excellent spreader
After years of frustration with Scott’s EZ Green and similar spreaders, I decided to give the Echo a shot and I couldn’t be happier. It has a higher capacity, but is easier to push than the smaller spreaders. It broadcasts evenly and in a much wider path than the other spreaders. It takes me half the time and produces a better job than anything I’ve ever used. Two neighbors who borrowed mine went out and bought their own. Great product!

Finally!!! A fertilizer spreader that checks all the boxes
this thing is perfect for me. Handle long enough for comfort, no bending over (I am 6'), sturdy handle not wobble, sturdy bucket, tires take air for less hangups on my rough ground, sturdy lever for dropping the material and last (not least) an easy, well made adjustable drop scale. Also, the price is reasonable for what you get. The choices of spreader seem to be the fairly cheap ones ($35-45) or super expensive commercial ones but this one fits the bill in the middle!!
