5 star money / quality , god clear sound long battery , ideal for outdoor use

WOW! What a fabulous little speaker. I did not expect such sound quality for both the size and the price of the speaker. Super easy to use, great looks and durable too. It fell off my truck at work and bounced around like it was dancing to the Led Zep it was playing! A fully deserved five stars.

Before starting my review, I must first mention the features on this device which I am not interested in and so not tested, i.e. Bluetooth capabilities, water proofing, portability, battery life and phone connectivity. That said, I am interested in the sound this item produces along with it's responsiveness.OK, so to start my tests I charged this speaker and, while still charging, I connected it to my computer and played a few tracks from some of my favourite digital albums. I found the music played came across as ever so slightly veiled, I also found the bass to be more on the lighter side of my personal preferences.However, on pressing the EQ button this speaker pushed the vocals forward rather than boosting other parts of the music, as other manufacturers' speakers seem to do, this was surprising but I did enjoy this new presentation.Next, to check this device's responsiveness, I played a few YouTube information videos. I found that this speaker worked well, i.e. lip syncing was spot on and every sound played happened when it visually occurred on screen.Next, I incorporated this device into my music system, which contains tone controls, and again this speaker did not disappoint, the voice enhancement was a joy to listen to and I was able to correct the bass-lightness that I heard earlier. I also really liked the fact that I can play this speaker while it is charging, you can't do this with some bluetooth speakers from other manufacturers. I also liked that it would remember and restart it's settings from the last time it was switched off.The main reason for purchasing this speaker because, unlike some speakers, it still retains an aux input port, I only play my music via the aux port and so I really appreciate the retaining of this facility. But I retained ownership because of it's additional useful features, i.e. can be played when charging, voice boost, restarts it's settings from when it was at switch-off, and it's sound blended quite nicely in with my current music system. In fact, I liked this speaker so much that I bought a second one.I'm listening to some smooth jazz as I write this review and the music just sounds heavenly.In conclusion, and along with the recent £5.00 price cut, I have no problem giving this device 5 stars because of it's value for money and 4 stars for it's sound reproduction.

Well made easy to set up the sound is great

I have only had it for 24hrs, there was a bit of charge. I think it sounds like it cutting it out when it needs to be recharge. I haven’t had much time to play around with the function but podcast and Spotify is fine. However when I made a call I could hear the person through the speaker but they couldn’t hear when I was speaking through the phone. It is light weight. Will post again when I have used it a bit more

I’m 55 and find modern tech amazing. This Ortizan Bluetooth speaker is fantastic. It fills my large living room with great sound coping with the highs, mids and lows very well. It’s graphic equaliser has 3 settings of which only one is useful but that’s fine by me. I also purchased this to attach to my bike so I can have my music playing out on the lanes and it has sufficient quality and volume to be heard clearly over road and wind noise. It’s only £30 so don’t expect chest vibrating base but do expect surprising sound reproduction for this low price. All in all I’m very happy with it 🙂

Disappointed with this device. After reading customer feedback I did expect better sound quality than what this device gives out.It did connect without any issues, I had to charge it before use, but haven't used it long enough to know how long that charge lasts.The build quaily is excellent, feels robust and should last a fair few drops and bumps, but it's just not right for me.I'll give it 4 stars for it's cosmetic design, but barely a 1 for sound quality. It sounds like speaker quality from an old phone for comparison.
