Garbage device, does not do what I was told it would do when I purchased it and would not permit a return and refund!!!!! Beware
I purchased this device in April but did not realize until now, the end of September, that it was a worthless piece of garbage. When I purchased this thing, I was told it would diagnose my car from the diagnostic port. Nothing was said about it ONLY REPORTING CHECK ENGINE light. A week ago, I noticed an airbag light lit on my Honda Civic, I ran the diagnostic and it showed NO LIGHT. Hmmm, I see a light but the device showed no light indicated. This unit is only good if the CHECK ENGINE LIGHT is illuminated. NOTHING ELSE. DO not be swayed by misrepresentations by this company FIXD. They would not permit me to return the device for a refund. I will NEVER purchase anything from FIXD EVER!!! This goes for the 2nd Generation device as well. ONLY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. Nothing else. Buyer Beware!!! You get what you pay for. You cannot expect a thousand dollar diagnostic tool for under one hundred dollars. I paid 12 for this one and the newer ones are more expensive. Believe me, this is not a diagnostic device. It is junk!!! I hope this helps someone.

No manufacturer support if buying on Amazon
Purchased this item and it worked fine. However once it stopped working and pass Amazon return date, you have a piece of junk. The manufacturer will not help you unless it is purchased from them. Several calls to customer service and they will tell you there is nothing they can do.Save you money, don't buy this.

Seems like a good idea but my phone and tablet sometimes have a hard time communicating with the unit. So I grab the trusty old plug in unit I have had for years and it works every time.Other blue tooth devices I have have no problem communication with my phone and tablet, so I have no idea why this product has issues?

does not work
was so excited to hear about a product that could diagnose my car. I plugged it in ad was very disappointed to see that it did not show the actual diagnosis or the possibilities a advertised. It said there was no problem and my engine light is on. Please do not waste your money on this product.

Product responded only one time, shortly after installation. Never worked again. Wrote to seller and have yet to receive a response to my request for either return or just plain refund. Would not reccomend.
