This screwdriver is the perfect fit for the security screw on your ring doorbell. It is made out of CRV for a secure removal of the security screw. This will most definitely fit any Ring Doorbell Why choose us? Not only is our product perfect for the job, we have great customer service if you have any problems or questions. If it doesn't seem to fit and is just spinning in the screw, the screw is most likely stripped. But don't worry! Look for an email from us giving you a detailed explanation on how to remove a stripped screw. *This screwdriver is manufactured to fit the Ring Doorbell but is not affiliated with Ring

Perfect for Ring doorbell...UPDATED: Doesn’t last
Works perfectly with Ring doorbell. Item arrived promptly.UPDATE: I don’t know if the screw on the Ring doorbell is defective or if the screwdrivers are flimsy..? I purchased a total of 5 screwdrivers. The first screwdriver lasted a few uses. The 2nd one only a couple of uses. 3rd and 4th won’t unscrew it. I am afraid to use the last one I have.

Works great for ring doorbell locking screws
Small but does the job. I lost my ring doorbell tool and tried all types of tools ranging from small Alan wrenches to small Philip screwdriver and nothing worked. Once I used the tool I was able to remove the bottom screws on my ring doorbell in seconds.

Does not work with Ring VideoDoorbell 2
When I needed to remove my Rind 2 battery to charge it, I discovered I had misplaced the original tool that came with it. I ordered this but when I went to use it it would not fit. Today I came across the original tool and it's torx head is about twice the size of the replacement.

RING screw removal tool. If you can, get the silver tool for older models
The picture shows the items I received. I must have a model ONE (?) ring doorbell device and the inclusion of the silver tool was INVALUABLE for me to use on my RING. NOTICE THE TIPS!!! This SILVER tool was not shown on the item’s picture, but it is the correct tool for removing the bottom screws on my Ring unit. The one with the red handle must be for later models and would not have worked for me. KUDOS FOR THE DEVELOPER TO INCLUDE BOTH TOOLS -They need to show detailed pics of both tools - I’m happy...

I might use a hammer next!
It didn’t work. I also tried using it with a small rubber band wrapped around the tip (suggestion from RING phone rep). The doorbell is still stuck on my door with one screw stuck, and no charge so the device is not working.

Worked perfectly!
I had been SO careful to save the ring doorbell original box with the special tool inside, but life happened and it got “moved”. When I had to redo my WiFi and reset the doorbell system there was no way to access the inside of the box where the reset button is. In desperation I searched amazon just in case someone was smart enough to meet this need. I ordered this Ring doorbell replacement screwdriver and it worked perfectly! So easy. (Figuring out Ring’s “reset” was harder). This company really delivered for me AND with a low price and fast shipping. Thank you!

Has one job and does it well
If you need to remove (or tighten) the two security screws at the bottom of your Ring doorbell, this is the screwdriver for you.I installed my Ring doorbell a couple years ago, and it recently went offline. For a fix, all suggestions said I needed to remove the Ring from the wall so I could push the orange button on the back (and/or scan the barcode on the back). The problem was that I couldn't find the specialized screwdriver that came with the Ring (needed to dismount the Ring from the wall), so I looked on Amazon and found a lot of one-star reviews for this (and other brands of this) screwdriver. So I just wanted to write this review to say that this screwdriver is indeed perfect for removing the two security screws (on the bottom of the Ring) that secures it to the wall. Voila!

Did not fit the screw
I bought this to remove the screw holding the cover on my Ring 2 doorbell so I could recharge the battery. However, the screwdriver was way too small for the socket in the screw and would not engage with the screw, rendering it useless. Maybe there is a different screw for other models of the doorbell that this driver works for but it does not work for the Ring 2
