Works extremely well. My mechanic suggested that I use something like this to reduce the wear on the tumblers in my ignition as there was a lot of weight pulling the key down. This is nice because I can use the magnet in two ways. Locked in together with the joint or if I want a more quick release, the magnet still is strong enough to hold the two sides together and then more easily separate them when I need. Great product!

Nice addition to EDC Keyring ... I did have issues with magnetic repel until I reversed one of the connectors ... now Keyring stays in a tight group but I can easily remove any tool for use

I have three of these. They are great! The magnet is strong. It works perfectly for when I have to hand off the car key to the hubby, or if I forget something in the house, I can just take off the house key and run in without shutting off the car. I also slide off my car key and keep it in my pocket when I don't want to carry my full ring with me in the stores.

This thing works amazingly… once you actually get the keys in there! The two key rings are so small that it really tests your patience when trying to jam regular house keys in them.I was actually hoping I could hang a key fob without the extra ring, but since these rings are so small, you definitely need an extra ring to attach it.Magnets are fine and how it locks up works well when you’re able to slide the two pieces back together. Only nuisance is the difficulty getting the keys in there.Also, the picture doesn’t exactly show it but the titanium version has more of a shiny, chrome look rather than the flatter gray look shown.

I bought this magnetic device to make it more convenient to carry my locker key in my pocket at work. I prefer to leave my keys and my wallet in my locker at work. My first week owning this device my locker key fell off once. And for 7 months I didn’t have that problem again. The good news is I lost my locker key after work, so I have my keys and wallet. The bad news is my dirty scrubs that I take home at the end of the week are stuck in my locker because last night I somehow lost my locker key. It fell off my magnetic keychain. When I was issued my locker, I was told my workplace does not have a spare key. The good news is I can replace my missing keys, but it is going to cost me. I’m really disappointed. I don’t know how long it will take to replace the key and I am going to have to wash my scrubs frequently until my new key arrives. It only lasted 7 months before I permanently lost my locker key. I have to say I do not recommend this product.
