So far so good! From 12mbps, now 75+mbps!
So far so good!!Pretty easy set up, did it on my iPhone with no bother at all, just needed to sign up to the tp-link app etc. Then followed the instructions and seems to be working just fine!My ee router kicks out 500mbps in the bedroom where it’s situated, but downstairs in the conservatory where I indoor-cycle on zwift using an iPad… I was getting at best 12-20mbps…Plugged this extender in, and on the three tests I’ve done so far I’ve got upward of 75mbps!! Can’t say fairer than that for £30 in my opinion. More than enough to do what I want to at the furthest reach of the house away from the router.Certainly beats paying ee £10 a month every month for the next 24 months for them to loan me a similar hardware!Give it a shot if you have the same issues.

Okay but issue setting up
Bought to replace our old Bt one which had stopped working after a number of years . The Bt one u plugged in ( in our lounge ) and off you go . This one - no too far away !Router is in spare bedroom and we live in stone cottage .Kit too far away .Had to have socket put in hall way to get it to work .Bit frustrating . The Bt one not available .As I say works well when set up .

Easy to setup - Does the job
Easy to set up - I am familiar with networking so knew what I wanted to set it up as. Setting up as an AP was easy and once tested I am receiving the same download and upload speeds as I was when plugged directly into ethernet.Really handy for separate parts of the house or in my case not in the house but where there is a direct ethernet port.

Functionality
This is honestly my first time writing a dedicated review to a product. I've always recieved speeds of 30mbps or sometimes even less even when I could've recieved even higher speeds that my broadbrand was providing. I just recently installed the wifi extender and its absolutely doing wonders. I am now able to achieve 150mbps or more depending on the devices connected and the connection is really stable, no drop-outs or stutters or whatsoever. This is honestly a gamechanger for when I'm gaming and etc. I've only recently installed my new router and I should've installed this wifi extender sooner. I would definitely recommend this product if you're experiencing low speeds in the house. I may even purchase more products from this brand in the future.

Is not a true BT extender, especially for dead zones.
This is to extend BT internet provider. It is ok, not brilliant than my BT610 extender which broke after 9 yrs. Instructions is a bit confusing as you can only conect to 5G which cover 2.6g and 5g (shown in their app, which you need to download. You can use browser, but it is slower. My old extender just did all without installing any unncessary app on my private mobile. As it is not BT, the connection is not stable, there will be times, it just die off, when I am playing games in so called dead zone. same floor, but divided by a shower room ie plasterboard walls. For this price, it is expensive and not value for money as I only use it for the dead zone for a hour or so. The question, I might as well, move to better zone to get normal zone, but out of my bed. I like to wake up and check my phone, but cannot, hence I bought this, but it is not stable. This was for my old tablet, ie samsung A6 tab.Modern phones ie samsung s25 ultra, do not need this extender and can pick up the BT signal with no issue and stable, so this extender is not brilliant.I would not recommend this for BT internet provider users, instead get a proper BT extender for better communication, stable and connection and is cheaper.

Can be a challenge
We live in old house and sky router is upstairs in the study. After installing transmitter upstairs but in the hallway the signal downstairs went from from GOOD to Excellent on ROKU TV , lovely streaming now, and from WEAK to strong on laptops, mobiles and in the front garden💪 A bit confusing set up at very beginning of connecting to router on the app but nothing major. CONS: SKIRTING BOARDS in old houses are quite high so you need to check if socket hight on them works for length of the transmitter. See picture. Recommended anyway
