I really wanted to love this makeup brush cleaner for the convenience. (First) it didn’t come with a charger. Which wasn’t that big of a deal because I had some on hand that fit. Secondly, I was disappointed because my brushes weren’t clean even after a second cycle. I used a great brush shampoo cleaner and the water looked dirty but the brushes were not clean. I don’t know if it was working properly either because it almost seemed like it was just soaking my brushes in water not like any of the videos have demonstrated. The brush holder also had a weird fit for most of my brush handles so I had to be careful putting them in and taking them out. I have invested a lot into my makeup brushes so I want to take care of them… I ended up having to hand wash all of my brushes and air drying them separately. It felt counter productive to own this machine especially for the price point.
