This product does not have a home button, but comes with a front facing camera, so it is easy to replace. Just remove the home button and replace it to press the iPhone 8, and there are no problems with the replacement. Therefore, it is highly praised!

Screen works great so far. Easy to install. Had trouble getting screen to work at first but ended up having to unplug all battery ribbons and plugging back in and now works great. The included screen protector seems to be to small though. It doesn’t fit the whole screen.

Colors seem to be like original, but it is slightly thicker than factory (it's not quite flush with the housing after install), kit would get five stars if it sat flush like original.Successfully replaced the screen and sensor assembly on an iPhone SE 2020.

Very disappointed with screen. The set itself is a nice idea. It comes with everything needed for a DYI replacement. The procedure is straightforward and took about 15-20 minutes. This was for an older iPhone 8 that I’ve successfully replaced the battery in twice and was hoping to keep alive after a screen incident. The replacement screen does not come with a new home button and must be swapped from the old display. Not really a problem, though it’s probably the most tedious part of the job. After finishing up, the screen powered on, and the camera and home button worked fine. The colors/hue/brightness are definitely different and I was never able to adjust the brightness to a comfortable level. The screen sensitivity is all over the place. Scrolling up often causes a right swipe and pinching/expanding is out of the question. There’s also a dead spot at the “U” on the keyboard. It appears that several functions are missing from this screen. It does not adjust to ambient light and it does not have a proximity sensor. So when on a call the screen does not turn off and my cheek is constantly pressing buttons. I did take it apart again to verify everything was connected and on further investigation noticed that it does not have the small lens above the speaker. I believe this is the location for the proximity and ambient light sensors. I put up with it for a week but ultimately decided to replace the phone.

The tools were fairly good, although the suction cup was curled up and didn’t work, but I could still pry off the old screen without too much difficulty. The included magnetic screw mat was super helpful, and none of the screws stripped so the tools were otherwise good and the install was very simple. The screen was well packaged and in perfect condition, the protector that it came with was scuffed and I probably wouldn’t use it but its not a huge deal. After booting up the phone i had to put it into recovery mode to get to the lock screen but that was probably a result of unplugging the battery and nothing to do with the screen. The colors are a little washed out and you can definitely tell that its a bit off (and no, I’m not just talking about the lack of true tone). The touchscreen seems a bit inaccurate and scrolling smoothly doesn’t always work well but for 35ish dollars I can live with it until my new phone ships (i just needed an emergency fix to get data off of my broken phone), so it still does everything I needed.Overall, install was simple and tools weren’t bad. The screen quality lacks in color contrast but it’s acceptable for the price and will get your phone working again for sure. Wouldn’t recommend for a longterm replacement but if you need a quick fix it works just fine.

It was easier to replace than I expected, and the phone works like a new one. My phone had been ran over and I had not backed up my pictures. I was able to retrieve them because of this product.The video code included did not work nor could I connect to the website listed but I was able to watch other youtube videos to get it replaced.
