I'd Recommend to anyone
I researched Bolt on hoops for what seemed to be a month before finally deciding on this hoop, and i have to say, im pretty pleased with the purchase. Below are some notes that i think people should be aware of before the purchase this hoop.Delivery --delivery was great, its heavy so i was glad the delivery drivers were able to put it right in my garage, but other than that there were no problems with delivery. The footing -- ok!! so get ready to dig a MASSIVE hole!! the directions say it should be 21" x 21" x 30" deep... but i live in Wisconsin and we have winter so i needed to put in a full frost footing... so thats 21 x 21 x 48!! which amounted to 2 days of work, 11 wheel barrows of dirt and 26 80lb bags of concrete and longer rebar than was included in the pack-- all in all that was about $160 extra. (dont let this be a deal breaker tho as this is going to be consistent no matter what brand you buy. but keep it all in mind... with cure time this was a 6 day process for me... also i CANNOT imagine that amazons "professional install" figure for this much work so be cautious of that.Assembly -- everything went together very easily.. this was a 3 person assembly tho. the directions want you to put the backboard on once it is up which makes no sense to try and hang a 100lb glass backboard 7' up in the air. using more people allowed for us to assemble it on the ground (much safer) and then we all stood it up and bolted it down. provided you have the right tools, ratchets, levels, and basic critical thinking knowledge, and the ability to follow very detailed and fully written out directions, it wasnt hard to do and i really had no problems assembling it. *** there is some small print on the one section for putting the 2 poles together that state when pounding them together the overall length CANNOT be less than 118.5".. keep than in mind and make sure you mark that off other wise you will not be able to get the hoop to 10' and its basically impossible to separate the poles once put together!! i had read this on someone else's review so i was aware of itQuality -- to me it looks great, and functions really nice.. i have no issues so far. the glass is tempered and seems to be great quality, the crank mechanism to raise and lower works really easily and the break away rim seems to function properly though im not hanging on the thing. The only real negative is that it has no protective cover on the top edges as it does on the bottom.... so if a tree branch, large hail, or something else would fall on the top it could break it pretty easily. i was actually surprised to see it didnt have any top edge protectionWobble-- so i read just horror story after horror story about these 4", 2 piece posts, and how there is just an "extreme" amount of wobble when you shot, or dunk.. i read about it with basically every brand and it was one of the big reasons i did so much research.. when i took the first shot i expected this thing to wobble like a metronome back and forth for minutes.. so here is what ill say about the wobble factor... yep!! it wobbles! its a 4" hollow pole extending 10' in the air supporting 100lbs... of course it wobbles.. i would in no way call it bad... on normal shots i would say it wobbles for 5 seconds, maybe not at all.. deep shots.. maybe 10 seconds.... if i dunk on it and hang there ( mind you im 6-8 250lbs) it wobbles pretty good. but again.. no where near what i had expected it to after reading all the different reviews.. .my thoughts are,,, if u want no wobble spend the $2500 on a goal keeper with a 6-8" pole or mount one to the fact of your garage or roof.. otherwise this one is pretty dang solidOverall im pretty satisfied with this hoop, it seems to be very good quality with very few drawbacks in my opinion Especially for a family just having it for recreational use.

Quality Goal
I chose this goal because I need a goal that didn’t take up a lot of space jon driveway like the portable goals. I didn’t want a goal that had a lot of overhang. I believe this one is like 23”. I want an anchor system and tempered glass. This was perfect.Installed just like it said. I dug hole roughly 30”deep by 20” wide. I needed only about 10 bags of 80 concrete. I took my time with the foundation.Took me about a day to dig the hole. Couple hours to build the concrete forms(mainly because I was on a slant). Then couple hours to pour concrete. But hurry and get that anchor bolt system in once you get the concrete in there.Overall, tempered glass is the way to goal. It’s so much quieter and feels sturdy. My only one complaint is the goal does sway after shots. Just like other reviews. But I know most goals do unless you spend the big bucks.

Solid basketball system for the price.
The media could not be loaded. I paid $499.00 for this system. It is a solid unit for the price. Mild wobble but nothing extreme. Gymnasium quality feel to it with the tempered glass 54” backboard.I installed cement and anchor incorrectly at first and had to remove. I called Lifetime and spoke to Shannon in customer service who was extremely helpful. After explaining my initial installation dilemma she sent me a brand new anchor system free of charge.Upon second installation of concrete (8 x 80lb. Bags) and anchor system, the install was easy with 3 people. You need 3 people not because of the weight but because of how awkward it is to maneuver onto the base plate. Overall, I am impressed with the look and feel of the system.

Really great hoop!
The media could not be loaded. Solid construction. Took 4 hours to dig the hole, 3 hours to mix and pour sixteen 80lb bags, 72 hours to let the concrete set, 45 minutes to put the hoop together, and 20-30 minutes to get set up and level. Overall, this hoop is really nice! We got it for $650 but remember the concrete will cost you between $70-$100 depending on how deep you make the hole and how many bags you need.

Excellent product for the price!
The media could not be loaded. Pros:- Compared to similar models on the market, this is a great price for a fair-quality unit.- The instructions and videos were very clear and easy to follow. It took me 1 day to assemble the pole, 1 day to dig and pour concrete, 3 days for concrete to dry, and 1 day to assemble backboard/rim before final install. It's critically important to follow the instructions to ensure solid installation.- The height-adjustable crank handle works well and I like that it can be removed via pin so that my kids don't adjust it when I don't want them to.- The tempered glass backboard and rim are both very solid, which give it a professional look and feel.- It was very easy to level the pole with the ground by adjusting the nuts on the ground mount.Cons:- The black corner guard on the backboard was dinged during transit (I assume), but I'm sure it could easily be replaced.- The crank handle cover broke during assembly (see picture).- There is some wobble when the hoop is being used, but it's very minimal (see video).Overall, this is a great unit for the price and it's definitely an upgrade from the cheap, portable hoop that I had before. It's not the highest quality product on the market, but it still gives a professional appearance. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a decent and reasonably-priced basketball hoop.
