Such a great surprise
I hardly ever write reviews, but decided after three months of using this product to write one. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars on waterproof headsets that have never worked properly. One ear always stops working and is so annoying to swim with. I decided to order these inexpensive headphones because I had nothing to lose. What a surprise! They are amazing. I’m ordering another pair right now just to have a reserve. The sound is clear they stay in your ears, and have already made it through dozens of swims. Unheard of for me. So glad I finally found something that works.

Far better than the headphones that came with my MP3 player
Bought these to replace the headphones that came with my underwater MP3 player. Replacement headphones were 2/3 as much as the price of the original player, so I started searching around for replacements and I found these. The price was right, so I gave them a try and have not been disappointed.I've had them for several swims now, and the sound quality is better than my original headphones, and the earbuds stay in my ears much better. I honestly forget I have headphones on and just concentrate on the swimming, which is the goal.Yes, the cords are short, but they are designed to clip on goggles at the back of the head. If you wear them that way, they are sufficiently long yet don't drag in the water. (I'm a medium sized female and my husband is a large male and we are both happy with the fit.) Not sure how people who complain about the cord length are wearing them, but without the extension they AREN'T long enough to clip on the hip or waist.

These work great for swimming but there is a trick
I almost returned these - in fact I had printed out a return label because no matter which size of the silicone ear buds I used - they kept getting pulled out of my ears when I was swimming laps. I was fiddling with them every lap and was so frustrated. I tried stretching the coils to make them longer but it didn't help. I purchased some different swimming ear buds but the cord was almost 48" long and not usable for swimming. I finally attached the two clips and positioned them so they were in the middle of the coils and clipped them to my goggle strap - then these worked incredibly well. I was thinking that the coils were pulling the ear buds out of my ears but now I think that maybe the coils had enough drag in the water that there was a continuous tug on the earbuds. I love them now and returned the 48" long useless pair. BTW - I didn't see any instructions or even a picture showing the clips being used with these ear buds. Just now I see another brand of short swimming ear buds that do not have a coil and their photo shows the clips being used.

Not fancy, but they work well!
I have a waterproof MP3 player that works great, but the ear buds that came with them did not work very well, so I ordered these. They are much more comfortable and I don't have any "crackling" like I had with the original ear buds. It comes with an extension cord and it clips onto my swimming suit, but I don't usually clip it. I would buy these again.

Longer, angled earbuds lose seal with swim cap
The sound quality of these earphones is good and they are inexpensive. BUT the earbud part is longer and the cord comes out at an obtuse angle compared to h2oaudio and Swimbuds in which the cord comes out at a right angle. (See photos for comparison. The AGPTEK ones have the black silicone earbud.) When I put them in my ears and then wear a swim cap over them, they stick out more, the cap pushes on the back, and they lose their seal and rock out of my ears. I use a dab of vaseline on the silicone and this usually forms a nice tight seal. But it doesn't help with the AGPTEK ones. This might not be a problem for a larger person. I am a 5'1" petite female and have small ears.

Terrible Product
This item is pretty much unusable. The sound quality is absolutely awful (tinny sound) and the cable is too short without the extender and far too long with it. I actually bought these to replace the ear buds that came with a AGPTEK MP3 player (those were great, but stopped working after 1 year), so I assumed they would be acceptable. Waste of money.

Works better than expected
I don't normally review products on amazon but I felt I had to let folks know about this one. Have been trying to listen to audio books on my syryn to overcome the mind dulling activity of swimming distances in the pool. The original headphones that came with the syryn was a bit too quiet and never seemed to fully seal the water out. Felt I was spending more time adjusting my headphones vs actually swimming. Didn't want to spend another grip of cash on phones that had the same problems then I came across these on amazon. Felt that for the price I'd give them a go. Compared them to my old underwater phones once they arrived and they looked identical. As for sound, the cheaper ones are louder and I don't have water seepage into my ears like the more expensive ones. So as of now I am very happy with the purchase as it solved my problem of audio being too quiet and water messing up the sound as well. The durability of these phones are yet to be seen but at the price I'm not terribly concerned, we all know that chlorinated water tends to chew up anything it come in contact with for long periods of time.

Great so far!
I swim 4-5 times a week, and my last headphones stopped working. These have been great so far. The ear tips are a bit firm, but have been great at keeping water out of my ears. Coiled cord works well, but needs to stretch a bit. Shirt cord length is nice. Perfect length for my clip on MP3 player (Syryn) on my goggle strap.
